Born in lagos, Nigeria and graduated from Sciences at the Lagos state University. Bayo is a model cum Modeling Instructor, Scout, Agent/Manager, Make-up Artist, show Choreographer and Designer. Although he studied sciences, he has been a frontline Modeling Agent and Make-up Artist, trained over sixty percent of the fashion Models in Nigeria. Though he intended to be a Medical doctor, his creative side has always triumphed, he has designed costumes for beauty contestants, models etc. over the years. He believes that the good physique of a model is a good inspiration for a good design. Bayo studied Fashion at Nobel training institute between 1996 and 1997 in order to learn the basics of professional cut and sew, Obtained a diploma in modeling/model management from Fawaz Training institute, State Make-up and wardrobe at ITPAN Training Institute, Gbagada, Lagos. Self-Sponsored Modela Agency/Couture Fashion started in 2001 with about sixty models. He established Modela Couture as a business in 2004 after winning Nigeria Designer of the year contest at the first attempt. He is awarded by several international magazine and local magazine as one of the most original and creative new African designer with unbelievable detail. He is the benchmark Nigerian Haute couture designs and inspiration to other couture design.

Port Harcourt Fashion Show 2011



The 8th edition of Port Harcourt fashion show Nigeria 2011 has not gone without its usual razzmatazz. It has become a must attend, must see, must participate for a lot of fashion lovers and fashionistas in the Niger delta and its environs.
It is a celebration of elegance, glam and style at its best.20 females and 10 male models carefully auditioned and screened by supreme events initiative who packaged the show.


The event on Friday 25th Feb. 2011 at the Atlantic hall of presidential hotel.porthacourt  was hosted by the executive producer mr Raymond Ukaegbu(president of supreme events)
6 Rivers state designers showcased their work which included Zhalima,so glamourous.ambassador couture, rosy creations,garby kenchy amongst others.


There were several portharcourt top musical artistes and comedy session
It was a fabulous experience,guest
 were trilled with eye catching beautiful designs
The highlight of the evening is the showcase by the special guest designer,master of couture-modela couture by Bayo Adegbe who opened the show and closed the show with his 2010 collection in coral beads titiled”only suitable for royalty”The collection he said was inspired by the late Legendary Edo princes “EMOTION”of the Benin Dynasty.It is her wardrobe with modern touch that added style 2011.


It is a breathtaking masterpieces creation made into short skirts,long skirts,layered pants with bustiers,Bra top,corsets,short dresses,long dresses all beaded pieces in variety of colours with organza shiffon frills details.It held the audience shouting for more and more.You Only got to see it to feel it.
