Born in lagos, Nigeria and graduated from Sciences at the Lagos state University. Bayo is a model cum Modeling Instructor, Scout, Agent/Manager, Make-up Artist, show Choreographer and Designer. Although he studied sciences, he has been a frontline Modeling Agent and Make-up Artist, trained over sixty percent of the fashion Models in Nigeria. Though he intended to be a Medical doctor, his creative side has always triumphed, he has designed costumes for beauty contestants, models etc. over the years. He believes that the good physique of a model is a good inspiration for a good design. Bayo studied Fashion at Nobel training institute between 1996 and 1997 in order to learn the basics of professional cut and sew, Obtained a diploma in modeling/model management from Fawaz Training institute, State Make-up and wardrobe at ITPAN Training Institute, Gbagada, Lagos. Self-Sponsored Modela Agency/Couture Fashion started in 2001 with about sixty models. He established Modela Couture as a business in 2004 after winning Nigeria Designer of the year contest at the first attempt. He is awarded by several international magazine and local magazine as one of the most original and creative new African designer with unbelievable detail. He is the benchmark Nigerian Haute couture designs and inspiration to other couture design.

ABOUT US

From 1995 when he started out as model, 1990 as a modeling agent, 1996/1997 as a trained cut and sew tailor from NOBEL AFRIK Training Institute, Mr. Bayo Adegbe his consistently working within the fashion/modeling industry as model/make-up artist, model instructor, fashion show choreographer, stylist, model manager and couture maker with a difference in designing high fashion/couture/costume panache, luxury and occasionally. His inspiration for his collection is major from Nature (birds, butterflies, plants and animals in general), fabrics arts and crafts of Africa especially Nigeria, day to day interaction with people from different works of life, occasion, and ethnic markets all over Africa.
Accessories are fussed with each creation from wooden beads, button, cowries, safety pins, brooms, crystal beads, seas shells, and raffia. It is a mix of sheer sexy ethnic feel of prince and princess. He dresses his models and clients elaborately collector items in which could only be attributed to prince and princesses. He is a multi-award wining talented and creative designer. His collections are mind blowing, awesome and really a sight to behold at fashion shows. He has changed the mood of every fashion show in the country and this has produced a lot of ready to wear to Avant garde putting a lot of Nigerian Designers on a new light outside the country.

Modela Couture Established 2001 as hobby became a Business in 2004 being awarded Nigeria Designer of the Year (NFS). There Began another milestone for us, ideas, A new Dream, New Vision, steer for Greatness in a tradition that is Original, Unique and Fresh .The Brand is wholly divine and we thank God for the Vision.
