Bayo Adegbe | CEO/Modela Couture
Born in lagos, Nigeria and graduated from Sciences at the Lagos state University. Bayo is a model cum Modeling Instructor, Scout, Agent/Manager, Make-up Artist, show Choreographer and Designer. Although he studied sciences, he has been a frontline Modeling Agent and Make-up Artist, trained over sixty percent of the fashion Models in Nigeria. Though he intended to be a Medical doctor, his creative side has always triumphed, he has designed costumes for beauty contestants, models etc. over the years. He believes that the good physique of a model is a good inspiration for a good design. Bayo studied Fashion at Nobel training institute between 1996 and 1997 in order to learn the basics of professional cut and sew, Obtained a diploma in modeling/model management from Fawaz Training institute, State Make-up and wardrobe at ITPAN Training Institute, Gbagada, Lagos. Self-Sponsored Modela Agency/Couture Fashion started in 2001 with about sixty models. He established Modela Couture as a business in 2004 after winning Nigeria Designer of the year contest at the first attempt. He is awarded by several international magazine and local magazine as one of the most original and creative new African designer with unbelievable detail. He is the benchmark Nigerian Haute couture designs and inspiration to other couture design.

GALA SHOW

Celebrates 50 years anniversary of gala in Nigeria and gala uses this opportunity to showcase the best designs of Nigeria in 50 years at each decade what were people wearingtheir style and food for both male and female of all ages.It gave modela couture by bayo adegbe to present what people were wearing in the 60s-70s-80s-90s-2000 and beyond.


The collection have the midi,maxi dresses,the bell bottom pants,pelazo pants,shuku-shaker shoes afro hair

,tight fitted suits,broad lapel suits,broad collar/bogous collar shirts,checkers shirts,stretch flower pattern fitted shirts,

cluqs shoes,stretched hair,jerry curl hair,bollar hats,kangol caps,caftan,senegalese caftan,disco outfits,jump outfits,booboo,short dresses,long dresses,long-body dresses etc.


Then the launching specials are the special 15 outfits made of specially made satin prints with gala.

Then the galaa short dresses,long dresses,flair cut with bra top.Bustier and red carpet dresses
with gala sewn embellishment on the outfits.


They are highly unbelievable by the audience which got the standing ovation.Then the spectacular taken of bow by the special guest designer modela couture abd the 70 models.
